This stunning 19th-century Regency mahogany folio stand was created by the award-winning firm Farthing and Thornhill. After building a great reputation for the quality of their craftsmanship as silversmiths and cabinetmakers, the firm won prize medals at the Great Exhibition of 1851, the International Exposition of 1855 in Paris, the International Exhibition of 1862 and the International Exposition of 1878 in Paris.
