Hester Bateman George III Silver Salver

Crafted by one of the premier silversmiths of the Georgian era, Hester Bateman, this George III silver salver features the beaded edge that was a Bateman hallmark. Elevated on shell feet that lend a lightness to the design, the tray is also centered by a highly detailed, bright-cut armorial, a technique for which Bateman is especially regarded.
