Copper Swirl Enamel Vase by Camille Fauré

Graceful swirls of copper- and white-hued enamel encase this Art Deco-period vase by the Limoges-based Camille Fauré. It was crafted using Fauré's signature raised enameling, which is achieved by applying an enamel paste to a copper base form and “building it” before firing. Heralding a revolution in the decorative arts, this vase exemplifies the innovative importance of this renowned artisan.
